Pooka™ is a progressive children's clothing brand that embodies the collective passion of its founders, Andrea, Bailey and Mairen Higham.
We are committed to, as Ghandi once said, "being the change we wish to see in the world." We work towards this mission by creating artistic and innovative clothing that is both earth-friendly and socially conscious.

Mairen Higham, Designer
Mairen is creative force to be reckoned with. She is constantly creating new designs that blow us away! She is a stellar 3rd grader with a gift for art and fashion and a heart of platinum. Her favorite hobbies are drawing and painting, playing with her brother and her friends and creating stuffed animals at Build-A-Bear. Mairen also enjoys cooking and has recently come up with a lovely fruit & chocolate dessert. Mairen's favorite designs (so far): Yo Dog & Flower |
Bailey Higham, Designer
Bailey is a magnificent artist with a talent for fantastical creatures (we'll have some of those designs out soon). Not unlike his sister, one of his favorite hobbies is drawing and painting. He is an excellent 5th grader who loves to read. He is also a very entrepreneurial lad with many little side businesses he's created at school. Bailey's hobbies include building (with just about anything), creating awesome creatures and robots out of recycled objects, playing with his sister and friends and cooking. Andrea Guevara Higham, President
Andrea has excelled in the design industry for over 9 years, as owner of a graphic and web design boutique. After working with several fashion industry clients Andrea realized her dream of starting her own clothing company, Ragazzi Clothing Company. Andrea is passionate about her children and helping make this world a better place for them (and everyone else too). She designs for the Pooka™ line and helps Bailey and Mairen in their design choices. Together they make Pooka™ come to life. In her free time (you know--she has lots of that) she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, playing with her children, acting like a goofball, visiting her pals at the neighborhood Starbucks, writing, dancing, listening to music, spending time outdoors, going to art galleries, playing at Disneyland and reading.
